How to prepare for a Shamanic Reiki Session

I’m so happy that you decided to take this path to revelation with our Shamanic Reiki healing session.

For those who are a little nervous and curious what to expect, try doing this in preparation of your time together. The most important part is just showing up to the session and being receptive to the Shamanic Reiki healing energy. Please know that these suggestions are all optional:

  1. REFLECTIVE JOURNAL ABOUT YOUR INTENTION(S) FOR THE SESSION.

    Get clear on why we are coming together, what are you needing more clarity on and figure out your why to this session. Are you intentionally coming in for an emotional release? Inner guidance? Are you feeling stressed and want some good vibes? Or perhaps you are feel detached and out of your body and need some help with the misalignment? Whatever that it is, reflect and journal it down. You’ll be surprised that by writing these intentions out to existence, you are messaging to your subconscious mind what you would like to dismantle or co-create with the Universe.  

    If you take the time to do this journaling, you will enter your session lighter, clearer, and with more confidence in the process.

  2. DRINK EXTRA WATER.

    Be mindful of drinking more water. Our Shamanic Reiki Session will trigger a detoxification process which will make you thirsty. By drinking extra water prior to the session, you are preparing your bodily system to more easily adapt to the healing transformations that will occur. Consider drinking purified or spring water, as these are the absolute best for healing. Adding a bit of organic lemon juice will also boost your body’s internal cleansing processes.

  3. WEAR COMFORTABLE CLOTHING

    On the day of your session, wear comfortable clothing to signal to the body-mind that you are allowing a deep relaxation to occur. This allowance is vital towards our healing experience. Consider what makes you feel relaxed, warm, and comfortable. If possible, wear natural fibers such as pure cottons or silks.

  4. ARRIVE TO YOUR SESSION A BIT EARLY.

    If possible, arrive to your session at least ten minutes early.

    One of the main purposes of our session is relaxation. By arriving a bit early, you give yourself enough time to begin that relaxation process yourself. If you can greet your practitioner with a little bit less tension in your body or with a little bit less mental noise, then your time spent in the healing room will be maximized. Your session will go deeper and be more profound—thanks to you, because you took the time to begin the healing process yourself.

    Shamanic Reiki is all about self-empowerment. There are so many ways that we can make our lives more peaceful, more joyful, more strong and more free. Shamanic Reiki is one method among many that help us tap into the core of our true selves. Feeling and understanding that true self is what makes true healing possible.
